Publication Day!

It’s finally here! Today, 24th October 2023, is publication day for my debut memoir Twenty-four Plus Six! It’s amazing to hold a physical copy of the book in my hand.

If you haven’t had chance to order your copy yet, just pop into your local bookshop and ask them to order it for you, or purchase online from your retailer of choice. It’s available in both Kindle format and paperback.

I’m donating 5% of my author royalties to 6 different charities over the next few months, including Ronald McDonald House Charities UK and The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust. So by pre-ordering your copy of Twenty-four Plus Six you’re supporting premature and sick babies, as well as their families.

And in the meantime, have a listen to this reading from Chapter 32 of the book which is all about the first time we were able to give our daughter a bath – about 4 months after her terrifying birth at twenty-four weeks and six days.

My name is Amy and I live in London with my husband and our two little ones. Our second was born unexpectedly at 24 weeks on a family holiday. This blog is about those crazy things that life becomes filled with when you become a mum to a preemie. It's about what they mean to me, how I feel, what my short-term and long-term emotional responses are, and how I am changing as a result of all these new experiences. It's also about how many of those experiences are shared by other preemie parents, or parents whose children are sick.
